Description
INOUMI PALM CUP
A truly calm moment deserves a vessel that feels as honest as the drink inside it. Our palm cup is wheel thrown in small batches in Kent and glazed in a soft satin finish that frames the vivid green of matcha, the rich brown of mushroom cacao or the creamy tones of collagen. Each mug is trimmed, fired and stamped by hand, giving subtle variations that turn an everyday cup into a personal piece of craft. Our Palm Cup piece is shaped, trimmed and glazed entirely by human hands, no two cups are ever identical. You’ll notice subtle variations in height, glaze flow and iron speckle; think of these as fingerprints of the craft. Before it enters the kiln each vessel receives the INOUMI discreet hallmark, proof of provenance and authenticity.
Function follows form throughout. The gently flared lip directs liquid onto the palate with a clean pour, while the cup’s wider base lowers its centre of gravity, making accidental knocks less likely. Stoneware’s natural heft grounds the hand, encouraging you to slow down, savour texture and taste, and treat drinking as a sensory reset rather than a background habit.
INOUMI Pottery
Learn more about our pottery.
Every INOUMI pottery piece is handmade in Kent in small, limited batches exclusively for us. We work closely with a skilled local artisan who hand throws each piece using traditional techniques, ensuring every piece carries its own subtle character and individuality.
Crafted from high-fired stoneware, our pottery is designed to be both beautiful and functional. The weight feels balanced in the hand, the satin glaze soft and refined, and the form carefully considered to enhance preparing and drinking our blends.
No two pieces are ever identical. Variations in glaze flow, tone and texture are part of the process, quiet details that reflect true craftsmanship rather than mass production. This is pottery made with intention, not haste.
Produced in limited quantities, our ceramics are designed to complement any home interior, blending modern minimalism with a tactile, timeless feel. Functional art for everyday. Considered, understated and unmistakably INOUMI.
How to use our palm cups
Hold the cup naturally, let the palm cup sit in the curve of your hand. The handle-less design is made to feel balanced and easy to cradle.
Care tip: Hand wash with warm water and allow the cup to dry naturally. Slight colour or texture variations are part of the handmade stoneware character.
